We are Avalon Group. We manage Shared Lives services in Doncaster, York and the North East.

We are an award winning charity, with over 25 years’ experience delivering personalised care and support to over 700 customers each year. We operate across 9 localities – Doncaster, Harrogate, Northallerton, Scarborough, Skipton, Teesside, West Yorkshire, York and Botton Village – with all services rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission.

Our charity was founded as a Shared Lives organisation, and we remain committed and passionate advocates of the service; recognising that it is one of the safest and most effective methods of care and support for adults in the UK.
